TVET SCHOOLS IN KARAMÜRSEL PROMOTES VR IN EDUCATION

Food and Beverages (Culinary art) students at Karamürsel MTAL experienced VR in the classroom. The students were introduced with the VET RD Project, the VET R&D e- book was implemented on the interactive white board in the classroom, they participated in Innovation, R&D workshop, and experienced the VR apps which was developed during the Project. At the end of the innovation workshop they presented the innovative products and process they developed to each other gave feedback. They worked with Scamper modeling. Ms Emel UZUN, who teaches Food and Beverage dept. has told that the VR has opened a door to an exciting world for her students, it has developed their creativity. The students of 10th and 11th grade have found the VR in learning exciting and said it would be nice to learn the other school subjects via VR. 13 April 2023
