THE DISSEMINATION MEETING OF THE PROJECT WAS HELD TO INFORM ALL PROJECT EXPERTS FROM 12 DISTRICTS OF KOCAELI AND PROVINCIAL DIRECTORATE

The Erasmus+ project was introduced to Mr. Mustafa DOĞAN and Mr. Erdinç BOZKURT, Provincial Deputy Directors of National Education, the R&D team of Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of National Education, to the ambassadors. Project teams from 12 districts of Kocaeli.  The overall objective of the meeting was to inform the project experts and R&D workers about the VET R&D project and its outputs. A workshop to introduce innovation and R&D was also performed. The institutional cooperation started among District Directorates and Provincial Directorate.

In the first session of the meeting, the innovation and innovative thinking workshop was held with eTwinning project experts. The experts consist of experienced teachers in Web 2.0 tools, innovative applications in education and project networks and R&D team. After the scamper modelling of the innovative technological applications used in education, the innovative process of the intellectual output (IO1) electronic book produced in the project was shared. District Director of National Education Murat Çakır made evaluations on virtual reality applications and innovative teaching methods in vocational education. The virtual reality as a way of innovative teaching was introduced as well. After the dinner, the sustainability of the project and how innovation and R&D themes could be handled in the e-Twinnig projects that will be prepared at the secondary and high school level next year were discussed. The virtual reality as education technology was introduced literally to the teachers and feedback was given. The positive effects of VR in education were discussed. The preparations for VR app scenarios for VET education (IO2) were introduced to the guests.

Cooperation and network were started for the sustainability of the project and the intellectual outputs implementation process.
